NEW YORK STATE INSTITUTE ON DISABILITY, INC., (NYSID)
The New York State Institute on Disability is a non -governmental, not-for-profit and tax-exempt disability incubator. Founded in 1995, the Institute has a board of directors comprised of individuals representing a wide range of disabilities, parent advocates, and other disability advocates. The Institute is based in New York City, but has developed projects in conjunction with independent living centers and other organizations throughout the State of New York. The ILUSA website is a project of the Institute, the Independent Living Center of the Hudson Valley, Inc., the Capital District Center for Independence, Inc., and Verizon.
